Job Overview:
We are seeking aSenior Cybersecurity Policy Analystto join our team. You will lead the development, consolidation, and technical assessment of cybersecurity policies to ensure a seamless balance between rigorous security mandates and mission-critical operational requirements. Furthermore, you will provide dedicated program support and continuously advise senior government leadership on critical policy updates and compliance progress. You will be located in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Cybersecurity Policy ManagementDriving the review, consolidation, and authoritative development of cybersecurity policies while ensuring strict adherence to compliance requirements and securing formal government approval.
IT Assessment & Operational AlignmentEvaluating existing IT policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures. Providing technical assistance to programs to guarantee that implemented security controls do not hinder operational efficiency and mission objectives.
Executive Advisement & ReportingServing as the primary conduit of information to senior management by delivering comprehensive briefings on cybersecurity policy changes, implementation updates, and overall strategic progress.
Required Qualifications:
A Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) analyst certification
A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience
Experienced in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its cybersecurity policies, procedures, and process.
Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess a DoD current Top-Secret clearance.
