The position combineson-site breast imaging and proceduresat community imaging locations withremote general diagnostic radiologyfor community hospital partners. The radiologist will also participate inweekend daytime general radiology call.

UConn community faculty appointmentFull-time preferred; part-time opportunities availableHybrid practice modelScreening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRIImage-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsy and localizationRemote interpretation of general radiology studies, including CT, radiography, and ultrasoundWeekend daytime general radiology callCollaboration with UConn breast imaging, breast surgery, oncology, and community clinical teamsOpportunities for teaching and participation in multidisciplinary breast careQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency and Breast Imaging fellowshipABR board certification in Diagnostic RadiologyCurrent MQSA interpreting physician qualificationProficiency in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast proceduresConnecticut medical license or eligibilityEligibility for UConn community faculty and medical staff appointmentsExperience with MRI-guided breast biopsy, contrast-enhanced mammography, ACR accreditation, or community-based/multi-site radiology practice is preferred.
