About the role

About EnVogue International Founded in 2008, EnVogue International is an established home décor and home textiles company partnering with some of North America's leading retailers. Our diverse portfolio spans decorative pillows, bedding, rugs, bath, kitchen textiles, home fragrance, furniture, tabletop, and more. At EnVogue, we bring together creativity, innovation, and collaboration to develop thoughtfully designed products for everyday living. We foster an entrepreneurial environment where ideas are valued, contributions make an impact, and employees have opportunities to grow alongside us.
About the Role: As Director of Packaging Design, you will lead the creative direction and hands-on design of retail packaging across EnVogue's licensed and proprietary home and lifestyle brands (consumer products). This role combines packaging design, brand development, and creative leadership, from original concepts and artwork execution through final production. You'll balance hands-on creative work with leading and mentoring the Packaging Design team.
What You'll Do: Lead and actively design retail packaging across licensed and internal brands. Develop original packaging concepts, graphics, layouts, and brand identities. Establish and evolve brand identities, visual systems, and packaging guidelines for brands. Ensure licensed packaging meets brand standards and approval requirements. Manage, mentor, and provide creative direction to the Packaging Design team. Delegate projects, review creative work, and manage team priorities. Create packaging mockups, renderings, and presentations for buyer meetings. Develop packaging tailored to retailer needs, merchandising strategies, and price points. Prepare and oversee dielines, mechanicals, and production-ready artwork. Select packaging materials, structures, finishes, and printing techniques. Review packaging samples, proofs, and color accuracy with overseas vendors. Research retail packaging trends, competitor products, and branding opportunities.
What We're Looking For: 10+ years of experience in packaging design, branding, or creative direction, with a strong focus on physical consumer product packaging. Retail packaging design experience required, preferably in home décor, home textiles, consumer products, beauty, gifting, or lifestyle. Proven experience leading and mentoring creative design teams while remaining hands-on. Experience developing original brand identities and packaging systems. Experience working with licensed brands, including brand guidelines and approval processes. Expertise in typography, color, packaging materials, dielines, and print production. Strong understanding of retail merchandising, brand positioning, and consumer appeal. Strong portfolio showcasing original packaging design and brand development. EnVogue International reserves the right to adjust compensation within or beyond the stated range based on experience, market conditions, and internal compensation considerations.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
