About the role
Our client is looking to add a Senior Tax Analyst to its growing corporate tax team. This isn't a pure prep role. They need someone who can step in and actually own things - splitting time between compliance, tax provision, and research, while also reviewing what other people on the team are producing and becoming one of the go-to people when something's complicated.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing and leading assigned work across compliance, provision, and reporting
- Conducting tax research and modeling on complex issues (ETR, transactions, entity structuring)
- Supporting federal and state tax return prep/review, R&D credit, 199A, Form 3115, and similar filings
- Preparing/reviewing tax provision work — ASC 740, FIN 48, footnotes, account reconciliations
- Helping integrate newly acquired or formed entities
- Acting as a liaison with global affiliates and supporting non-US tax matters
- What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of corporate tax experience
- Solid federal/state/foreign tax background, including research
- Experience reviewing the work of junior staff
- Comfortable with ERPs, consolidation systems, and data tools
Bonus if you've worked with BNA or CCH AxcessNo sponsorship available for this one.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
