Fabricator - Metal Manufacturing
Location: Fresno, CA Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Fabricator for a metal manufacturing facility in Fresno, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience fabricating, assembling, and finishing metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards in a production environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. Measure, cut, grind, weld, and assemble metal components to specification. Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, presses, grinders, drills, and other shop machinery. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications: 2+ years of fabrication experience preferred. Experience in a metal manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring instruments. Knowledge of welding and metalworking processes is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and dependable work history.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, and use of hand tools. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
