About the role
Lead Vestas Wind Turbine Technicians – US Travelling Role Select Offshore is hiring experienced Lead Vestas Technicians for long-term construction and commissioning projects across the United States. You’ll lead technician teams working on new Vestas turbines, supporting mechanical completion, commissioning, fault finding and turbine handover through to production.
The Role:
Leading technicians during turbine completion and commissioning activities Coordinating daily work scopes with Vestas site management Allocating tasks and monitoring team performance Leading toolbox talks, safety briefings and LOTO activities Electrical and mechanical fault finding Supporting energisation, commissioning and turbine start-up Reading schematics and using SCADA and testing equipment Ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with Vestas procedures Completing technical documentation and reporting project progress
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working on Vestas wind turbines Strong knowledge of Vestas systems, procedures and safety requirements Experience leading wind turbine technicians Commissioning, troubleshooting or construction experience Strong electrical and mechanical understanding Ability to read schematics and work independently Confident communicating with technicians and site management Willingness to travel throughout the United States Package Competitive hourly rate Daily per diem Company truck and fuel provided Six weeks on/one week off rotation Long-term projects across the USInterested?
