Role Description: The Financial Controller role is a full-time, Remote or Hybrid position. The individual in this role will oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end and year-end close processes. The Financial Controller will prepare and review financial statements, manage financial reporting, monitor cash flow, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. This role will also ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements, implement internal controls, and collaborate with leadership to provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making. The Financial Controller will oversee and guide accounting staff, streamline financial processes, and support audits and external reporting as needed.
Qualifications: Strong accounting foundation, with skills in Accounting and preparation of Financial Statements. Experience in Finance and Financial Reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred. Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, as well as Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Demonstrated ability to design and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP or relevant standards. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams. Previous experience in a controller or senior accounting role within an industrial, manufacturing, or similar environment is an advantage.
