About the role

Catholic Charities has retained Denham Resources to help them find the perfect person to act as the director for their Merced site. If your vocation is caring and you are not a "sit behind the desk" kind of person, this is a great opportunity. Catholic Charities is recognized for its' ability to respond quickly and sustain that response when help is needed. This site serves the Merced County area through a variety of human services programs for those most in need. They offer a good salary and an excellent benefit package at little to no cost to employees. Vision Statement: We strive to be the leader among human service providers, in partnership with community organizations and every county and parish within the Diocese of Fresno. If you have the qualifications below and share the mission and vision as above, I'd love to have a confidential conversation.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
