Location:
Reston, VACitizenship: US Citizenship required Tek Stream is working with a client to identify an entrepreneurial and highly motivated Strategic Account Executive to lead customer engagement, delivery excellence, solution development, and growth across key Federal Civilian accounts, with an initial emphasis on the Department of Justice ecosystem and the ability to expand into broader civilian agency portfolios over time. This is not a traditional account management role; this role is focused on strategic growth. We are looking for a builder, a problem solver, and an operator. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to government customers while operating as a leader responsible for:• Overseeing the exceptional program performance• Developing innovative mission-oriented solutions• Driving account growth and business expansion The ideal candidate combines the discipline of an account executive, the creativity of a consultant, and the drive of a business developer. They possess a deep understanding of government administrative and mission support functions and are passionate about helping agencies modernize operations to better support mission outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Leadership and Delivery Excellence• Provide leadership and oversight across assigned customer programs and contracts.• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with government executives and stakeholders.• Ensure successful delivery against cost, schedule, quality, and mission objectives.• Foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence. Solution Development and Innovation• Develop a deep understanding of customer missions, priorities, operational challenges, and emerging requirements.• Translate customer challenges into scalable, differentiated, and mission-oriented solutions.• Leverage expertise in federal administrative and mission support environments.• Partner across operations, growth, and technical teams to design integrated solutions aligned to customer objectives.• Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies to reduce administrative burden, streamline operations, and enable government personnel to focus more directly on mission execution.• Help customers reimagine how administrative and support functions can be delivered more effectively through technology-enabled modernization and process transformation initiatives. Growth and Account Expansion• Serve as the growth lead for assigned accounts with responsibility for organic growth and account expansion.• Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned to customer priorities and mission objectives.• Identify and qualify opportunities for contract expansions, recompetes, and adjacent mission support opportunities.• Partner with capture and proposal teams to improve win probability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10+ years of experience supporting Federal Civilian agencies.• Demonstrated experience supporting the Department of Justice ecosystem to include, FBI, ATF, DEA, Marshals Service strongly preferred.• Consulting experience within a federal services environment.• Strong understanding of government administrative and operational support functions.• Demonstrated ability to identify, shape, and win new business opportunities.
