About the role
Our client, a large flooring manufacturer is currently seeking highly motivated and self-driven Territory Sales Rep (TSR) to join their team. The TSR is responsible for using their knowledge of company products to expand the base of accounts, grow sales, and meet customer needs selling hard surface flooring to the Kitchen/Bath & Flooring dealers. This is an existing territory with immediate business coming in. Territory covers: Northside of Chicago (MUST live in territory)Overnight travel: Approx 4-5 overnights per month Minimum Requirements::2+ years Outside Sales experience. Flooring industry background is STRONGLY preferred, similar experience is acceptable. Potential Weekly travel throughout the territory (approx 4-5+ overnight per month).Highly motivated & excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of the product to potential customers. A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must live in territory. Company offers: a base salary, uncapped tiered commission plan, car allowance, full benefits, paid time off.
