We are seeking a highly skilled professional to temporarily replace an employee on leave, serving as a technical resource to contractors, customers, and our dedicated NYSERDA staff. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while playing a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant installation of NYSERDA-funded PV and Storage systems. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical assistance, perform design reviews, and collaborate with our quality management team to ensure excellence. Requirements: 10 years of experience in the solar or electrical construction industry. Working knowledge of NYS Uniform Codes. Bachelor's degree. Excellent communication skills; experience in solar or electrical construction industry. Ability to communicate effectively with solar installers, contractors, inspectors, and customers. Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Asana. PreferencesNYS Professional Engineer License, NABCEP PV Installation Professional, UL PV System Installer, or IBEW Journeyman with 40-hour PV training.
