Job Purpose: The Snack Bar Cook is responsible for preparing simple food and beverage items for golfers and guests in a fast-paced snack bar environment. This position focuses on providing friendly service while preparing menu items such as sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, breakfast items, and grab-and-go offerings according to established standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, follows food safety guidelines, and takes pride in delivering quality food quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities: Prepare and serve simple food items according to established recipes and portion standardsCook menu items using grills, ovens, fryers, microwaves, or other snack bar equipmentAssemble sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other grab-and-go offeringsStock food, beverage, and supply inventory throughout the shiftEnsure food is properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshnessMonitor food temperatures and follow food safety and sanitation standardsMaintain a clean and organized food preparation areaAssist with receiving and storing deliveriesRestock condiments, utensils, beverages, and snack items as neededProvide friendly and efficient service to guestsFollow all Company, local, state, and federal health and safety regulationsPerform other duties as assigned QualificationsPrevious food service, snack bar, quick-service restaurant, or kitchen experience preferredStrong customer service skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety proceduresBasic math and cash handling skills preferredMust be able to communicate effectively in EnglishFood Handler Certification, where required by law Working ConditionsDays and hours of work vary based on business needs and operating schedulesEvening, weekend, and holiday work may be requiredAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeRegularly required to use hands, reach, bend, stoop, lift, and carry itemsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 poundsWork may be performed in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperaturesSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus American Golf Corporation is committed to equal employment opportunities for all.
