Masterprep Academy is a leading provider of after-school classes and tutoring services, specializing in preparing students for standardized tests such as the ACT, SAT, SSAT, PSAT, and AP Tests. In addition, we offer GPA management and college prep counseling services. Our small class sizes, capped at 6 students, ensure personalized attention for each student. We use a proprietary curriculum developed in-house, and our educators have a track record of successfully teaching standardized test preparation. The academy is known for its excellent support in academic progress and college admissions.
Role Description:
We are seeking a College Counselor to support high school students through the college planning and application process. This role involves one-on-one counseling, advising on college selection, application strategy, and financial aid. The counselor will also help track application progress, organize college prep workshops, and provide resources to guide students toward their academic goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in college counseling, preferably working with high school students Prior experience in a college admissions office is a strong plus In-depth knowledge of the U.S. college application process, including standardized testing, financial aid, and scholarships Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote setting Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in education, or related field preferred
