What You'll Do:
As a Trailer Mechanic, you'll: Perform preventative maintenance inspections Repair trailer brakes, suspension, hubs, and wheel ends Replace lights, wiring, ABS components, and electrical systems Repair doors, roofs, floors, and trailer bodies Diagnose and repair air systems Perform DOT inspections Weld and fabricate minor trailer repairs (training available)Work alongside experienced technicians while developing your skills As your experience grows, you'll have opportunities to train on: Diesel engines Tractor preventative maintenance Air brake systems Truck electrical diagnostics Steering and suspension Engine diagnostics and repair
