Monthly Food Distribution
story 727St Petersburg (FL)
About the role
We're looking for volunteers to help in all areas of our distribution: setting up, organizing food, packing, welcoming neighbors, distributing items, and cleaning up. Every role matters. Every pair of hands helps ensure families are met with dignity, care, and enough to carry them through. You don't need special skills—just a willing heart and a little time. Whether you're lifting boxes, offering a smile, or working quietly behind the scenes, you're helping build a kinder, stronger community. If you believe food is a basic human right, that small acts can create big change, and that showing up for others truly matters—we'd love to have you.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
