Compensation: $3500 per month
Position Summary: As the Brokerage Solutions Intern at US Tiger Securities, Inc., you will support the full lifecycle of financial technology product development. This role offers deep exposure to the financial services industry and our proprietary fintech software, combining applied economics, quantitative data analysis, and computer science to drive meaningful product decisions. You will develop expertise in how economic principles and data-driven methodologies shape financial software products, working at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, and technology. The position demands strong quantitative reasoning, the ability to extract insights from complex datasets, and comfort collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Product Development Support new feature development from conception through launch, including requirements gathering, data-driven prioritization, QA testing, and post-launch performance analysis. Conduct structured quality assurance testing of new product features prior to release, identifying bugs, edge cases, and performance issues with technical precision. Collaborate with software engineers and technical teams to translate business and economic requirements into technical specifications. Data Analysis & Research Monitor and analyze support escalation data to identify statistically significant patterns, error trends, and systemic issues, translating findings into actionable product recommendations. Apply analytical frameworks to evaluate product performance metrics, user behavior data, and feature adoption rates. Conduct competitor and market research grounded in financial and economic analysis, benchmarking the firm’s fintech offerings against industry standards. Build reports and data visualizations to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Stakeholder Engagement Arrange and attend cross-functional stakeholder meetings; document outcomes and ensure timely follow-through on feedback within agreed timescales. Demo products to internal teams and prospective clients, communicating economic value propositions and technical capabilities clearly.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field required; equivalent work experience may be considered Mandarin proficiency required; professional working proficiency or above preferred Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and draw economically meaningful conclusions. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel for data analysis and reporting. Effective communicator capable of conveying technical and economic concepts to diverse audiences. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple workstreams with strong time management.
