Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promote a good customer experience by consistently providing best‑in‑class customer satisfaction, adhering to and applying customer experience key behaviors, with a friendly demeanor and a can‑do attitude. Build rapport with the customer base and maintain knowledge of account ownership. Act with confidence by answering or locating answers to customer questions and finding solutions to customer issues. Respond promptly and effectively with correspondence and problem resolution. Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business confidential. Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, maintaining ethical behavior at all times. Perform daily office responsibilities, working with the platform team, to maintain efficient operation of the office. Keep a balancing record that is in line with policy and correct outages when identified. Maintain knowledge of bank policies and financial center procedures and keep up to date on any changes. Handle consumer and business customer problems with professionalism, directing more complex issues to the Lead Customer Service Representative or other leadership as necessary. Demonstrate sound judgment in decision‑making, abiding by established guidelines and procedures. Consistently meet or exceed sales referrals, as set by management. Participate in daily huddles, sales meetings and staff meetings. Maintain a working knowledge of the complete line of retail products and services offered, and seek assistance for further development as needed. Initiate conversations to uncover customer needs and refer customers to business partners for the sale and cross‑sale of bank products and services. Use appropriate tools for all referrals sent to business partners for tracking purposes. Review tools and dashboards daily for referral progression and monitoring to ensure proper disposition of referrals. Continuously increase knowledge and skills through self‑motivation, formal education, seminars and in‑house training. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required High school diploma or GED. Experience with extensive cash handling and proficiency in advanced math functions. Ability to present a professional image when interacting with the public. Comfortable and confident public interaction, with initiative to start dialogue. Adequate reading, writing, oral and written communication skills. In‑depth knowledge of retail policies and procedures, typically from a minimum of 2 years of CSR experience. Ability to take initiative, exercise sound judgment, and practice diplomacy and tact in problem resolution. Teamwork skills and the ability to interact well with coworkers and management. Scheduling flexibility. Requirement for SAFE Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Working Conditions Normal office environment. Extended computer screen time. Travel required.
