Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable and motivated Package Delivery Driver to provide local package delivery services throughout designated Hot Springs-area ZIP codes. The ideal candidate will be punctual, responsible, safety-conscious, maintains a positive attitude during stressful times, and willing to work as part of a team. No previous delivery experience is required, and a CDL is not required. Training will be provided as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate a delivery vehicle along assigned local routes. Pick up, transport, and deliver packages accurately and efficiently. Load and unload packages throughout the workday. Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers. Follow all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and delivery requirements. Work cooperatively with other drivers, supervisors, and team members. Maintain dependable attendance and arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts. Properly handle packages to prevent loss or damage. Perform other delivery-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements: Applicants must: Be dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Possess a valid driver's license. Have a clean driving record. Be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening. Be physically capable of performing the lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading duties required for package delivery. Be able to safely enter and exit a delivery vehicle repeatedly throughout the workday. Be willing to work a schedule that may vary based on seasonal delivery demands. No CDL is required. No previous package delivery experience is required.
Work Schedule: The standard job type is full time, and part time is offered during the busy seasons but is classified as full time seasonal. Drivers start at 7:30 AM and are responsible for completing their assigned route. The driver's day is complete when they complete their route. A typical work week is 5 days per week, and 6 days per week during our busy season.
