Paradigm has been one of the trendsetters in global delivery practices with our Client-Centric Model for customer management and delivery.Job DescriptionTitle: Business Analyst – Expert Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 3+ Months Interview: Must be local F2F (C2C ok) Description Overall Purpose of Job: The Data Management Department (DMD), the business owners of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (DWH), is transitioning its focus from being primarily a project support group to 'ensuring the DWH is filling satisfying the needs of the firms business groups'. This includes meeting with all business groups to learn the data needed by each group and determining if the DWH can be leveraged more to improve the groups efficiencies.During interviews with groups we will determine if new data is required or if new tools would be beneficial. Since we are in the initial stages we need to set the templates used for the interviews and then execute and gather the information and make appropriate recommendations and establish regular communications with all groups. Plan, coordinate and execute various user tasks of system implementation project. Co‐work with other member of the team, system end‐use. The candidate will conduct the following tasks by himself/herself.Develop templates and questionnaires to be used by DMD to obtain required information from all the business groups What is missing from the DWH (Data Gaps) that if available would allow them to be more efficient. Ex. What would it save you, in hours? What are the priorities of the items? How does the business group determine if the DWH is meeting its expectation? Create examples of DWH capabilities not readily known to users. Did you know you could....... Create sample alert reports. If X, Y, and Z happens, then a report is emailed to a team.Create matrix to track the product usage by business area. Hold interviews with various business groups. Research DWH usage and governance best practices.Other requirements:8‐10+ years DWH experience with a Financial Services Institution or Professional Management Consulting Firm. Interpersonal skills must be excellent. In addition, must have extensive experience with: Business Analysis and Gap Analysis. Expertise in Microsoft Project and MS Office Suite.Education:4 year college degree or equivalent.QualificationsBusiness Analyst: Assist in creating the Gap analysis templates. Hold Gap analysis sessions with business groups. Create SRD and BRD as requested. Develop Functional specs as needed for clarity and user approval. Hold demo sessions for new reporting functionality.
