Description: Summary Job Description This position is responsible for applying trim materials to high end furniture using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.
Essential Duties: Use various tools to apply trim to high end upholstered furniture Spot match fabric Must be able to read and follow production tickets Must be familiar with ply grip, strip tack, and trim materials Must follow all safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Position Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous upholstery experience a plus Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks Must be able to work in noisy environments Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble product or operate machine as directed Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lifting/carrying objects 51-75 lbs.
