About the role
- Plan and run installations: Own fiber builds from kickoff to completion in multi-tenant residential and commercial settings, including site walks, readiness checks, scheduling, and install planning with construction, sales, and operations partners.
- Lead field execution: Direct internal crews, subcontractors, and vendors, and make sure materials are on hand and work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Be the main contact for property partners: Work with property managers, HOA boards, and developers throughout each project, and support resident communication so move-in and activation go smoothly.
- Drive quality and safety: Inspect completed work, close out punch lists, and verify each project meets scope and standards.
- Track and report: Monitor milestones, risks, material needs, and progress, and escalate and resolve issues quickly.
- Stay compliant: Follow company standards, local codes, permit requirements, and safety procedures.
- What You Bring 5+ years in telecommunications, fiber construction, or network installation, including time in a lead or management capacity
- Hands-on experience managing MDU, commercial, HOA, FTTH, or structured cabling projects
- Solid grasp of fiber deployment workflows, field operations, scheduling, and contractor management
- Strong relationship building skills with property stakeholders, internal teams, and outside partners
- Working knowledge of jobsite safety, quality standards, and installation requirements
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem solving abilities
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
- Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, engineering, construction management, business, or a related field
- Experience with HOA approvals, property access coordination, and resident communications
- Familiarity with fiber testing, activation readiness, and construction documentation
- Background managing several community projects at once in a telecom construction setting
