About the role
School-Based Psychologist Omni Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a full-time/PRN school-based psychologist to work as an independent contractor within the suburbs of Chicago. Omni is a locally based company that brings together multidisciplinary treatment teams, provides dedicated long-term care within a loyal network of school districts, offers the freedom to work independently, and provides continual support to professional growth and continuing education. Opportunities exist in northwestern, south, and southwestern suburbs. Must have a current Illinois PEL with school psychologist endorsement to meet minimum requirements. One year experience in the schools or equivalent work experience with children is necessary for current openings, two years plus experience is desired. Travel to districts, availability for after-school meetings with the company 1x/month throughout the school year, and comfort using technology platforms for administrative purposes, is required. Placements are based on proximity and company seniority. Bilingual applicants preferred! To be considered for this position, you must have current Illinois PEL, or awaiting completion status. Since 1982, Omni Therapeutics, Inc. has been providing high quality school-based therapy and health services within schools throughout the Chicagoland suburbs. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams provide OT, PT, SLP, social work, and psychology within multiple school districts ranging from EC-12. We are celebrating over 40 years in business and have served thousands of children throughout the south and southwest suburbs. We are continuously expanding our network to include additional districts within our geographic area, to include western suburbs and northwest Indiana.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
