Guaranteed Hours:
40 hours/week Schedule Day Shift 5 x 8-hour shifts per week Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMFull-time assignment Key Qualifications
RequiredABR Certification (American Board of Radiology)Relevant Medical Physicist and/or Dosimetrist experience Ability to work in a Radiation Oncology environment

Medical Physicist Functions Quality assurance of radiation therapy equipment Radiation safety compliance Calibration and testing of treatment machines Treatment plan review and verification Support of radiation oncologists and therapists Dosimetry Functions Creating and optimizing radiation treatment plans Utilizing ARIA and treatment planning software Reviewing imaging and anatomical data Ensuring treatment plans meet physician prescriptions
