About the role
We are seeking an experienced Event Producer to manage an event concept from start to finish alongside the Executive Producer. In this role, you will be responsible for project management, budget management, vendor coordination, staff management, travel booking + logistics, and coordinating on-site operational logistics. This role will require you to be available for weekly internal and external calls along with daily communication via Slack with the project team. As the event producer, you will be on-site from load-in to load-out, overseeing all operational details to ensure the event runs smoothly. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills will be essential to effectively manage the team, clients, and vendors and ultimately deliver a seamless, high-quality event experience. This role is contract-based and is not a full-time position. Specific contract duration will be determined by the project.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Project Management: Oversee the complete event production process, including planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initial concept to project wrap.
Budget Management: Manage event budgets, ensuring expenses are tracked and managed according to financial guidelines.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to procure services, negotiate contracts, and manage timelines to meet event requirements.
Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate on-site event staff, providing clear direction and support throughout the event process.
Travel and Logistics: Arrange travel and logistics for event teams, ensuring timely and efficient transport and accommodation.
On-Site Management: Be present on-site from load-in to load-out, managing event setup, coordinating operations, and handling real-time problem-solving as needed.
Communication: Participate in weekly internal and external calls and maintain consistent daily communication with the project team via Slack.
Problem-Solving : Address unexpected challenges proactively and make confident executive decisions to keep the event on track.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in event production or a related field.
Availability:
Must be available during working hours to communicate via Slack and participate in project-related internal and external calls. Flexibility of schedule to be available for evening and weekend events.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools such as Google Suite, Slack, and Canva.
Travel: Must be available and willing to travel for on-site event management.
DETAILS
Title: Event Producer

Rate: Compensation will be determined based on experience and project scope.
Working Hours: To be determined by individual contract and project scope.
Schedule:
Hybrid; in-person meetings and work sessions 2 days per week, remote 3 days a week.
