Description: Kforce has a client in Kansas City, MO that is looking for a Lending Systems Analyst.
Summary: The Lending Systems Analyst serves as the business-side technical project manager and platform steward for assigned financial services lending applications supporting consumer loan products. This role partners closely with Product, Operations, IT, Legal & Compliance, Customer Care, and external platform vendors to support implementation, configuration, testing, launch readiness, and ongoing use of lending systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the business-side technical project manager and platform steward for assigned lending systems, including implementation milestones, launch readiness, product configuration, workflow setup, system access, and release coordination* Support the configuration and maintenance of consumer loan products, including loan terms, APR and rate logic, payment rules, eligibility parameters, servicing rules, and operational guardrails* Creates and manages reports for financial services including but not limited to tracking service level agreements and other key performance indicators (KPI's)* Partner with Product, Operations, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Care teams to gather requirements, document business processes, and translate operational needs into lending system capabilities* Coordinate with external lending platform vendors to manage open questions, decisions, dependencies, configuration needs, defects, enhancements, testing support, and implementation follow-ups* Manage user access, roles, permissions, and platform support processes to ensure users have appropriate access based on job responsibilities, security expectations, and compliance requirements* Lead or support system testing, including test case development, user acceptance testing, regression testing, release validation, and defect triage
Requirements:
  • Experience supporting lending, loan servicing, banking, financial services, payments, collections, or similar enterprise technology platforms* Experience participating in system implementations, vendor platform onboarding, UAT, release management, production support, or technical project management activities* Strong demonstration of consumer lending knowledge, from a banking environment* Understand lending terminology and concepts around reporting, metrics, and how they would monitor platform health and performance* Strong understanding of business systems administration, user access management, workflow configuration, testing, issue resolution, and operational support* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues, identify root causes, evaluate options, and recommend practical solutions* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, leadership, and external vendors* Ability to gather business requirements, document processes, translate needs into system configuration or enhancement requests, and support cross-functional decision-making
Preferred:
  • Experience with configurable lending or banking platforms such as Temenos, FIS, or similar SaaS-based financial services platforms* In-depth knowledge of loan servicing, including collections, credit bureau reporting, payment processing, loan modifications, and borrower support workflows* Knowledge of consumer lending compliance considerations such as MLA, SCRA, credit reporting, disputes, complaints, or collections Job Type ContractCompensation100 - $110
