Responsibilities: Perform massage therapy sessions using various techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities. Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide pain management and acute pain relief through therapeutic massage. Educate patients on self-care techniques to enhance the benefits of massage therapy. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
Requirements: Must possess an active license as a Massage Therapist within the State of Alabama. Must possess liability insurance. Proficiency in pain management techniques. Deep tissue massage expertise. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
