About the role

Overview: Our client is a growing technology company seeking a results-oriented Account Executive Director to join its Public Sector team and sell into large Federal agencies. This position will be responsible for driving new business revenue growth across the Federal market through direct pursuits and strategic partnerships. This position requires strong selling skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to bring value to Federal customers and technology partners while driving growth for the business. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with Federal buying processes, procurement trends, and the competitive landscape.
Responsibilities: Grow new and existing accounts in partnership with Federal agency leaders and internal subject matter experts. Build and maintain a strong pipeline across new and existing Federal agency accounts. Drive sales activity with a relationship-focused approach. Manage opportunities and negotiations throughout the sales process. Develop compelling win themes and positioning for Federal pursuits. Build valuable, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders. Understand how the company’s solutions align with target Federal agency priorities and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition. Become a trusted resource and develop strong relationships with prospects and customers. Collaborate with internal teams and strategic partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree.7+ years of software or technology sales experience with specific expertise in the Federal public sector market. Track record of navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes at the executive Federal level. Experience managing all aspects of the sales lifecycle, including account penetration, pursuit strategy, negotiation, and contracting. Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Strong relationship development skills with the ability to work across all levels and departments of an organization. Demonstrated ability to partner with alliances and channel organizations to develop and sell solutions. Experience selling solutions related to fraud, risk, identity, security, data analytics, or other complex technology environments. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus.
