About the role

We are partnering with a leading investment organization on a high-priority investment data remediation initiative within its Investment Operations function. The team is working across private credit, fixed income, and structured products to investigate and resolve inconsistencies across investment, accounting, custody and operational records.
Responsibilities: Investigate and resolve investment data, position, cash, transaction and reconciliation breaks across internal and external systems. Research discrepancies using underlying transaction history, investment documentation, accounting records, agent bank and custodian data. Perform root-cause analysis to determine why breaks occurred and identify the appropriate remediation. Review and validate investment data across private credit, bank loans, fixed income and structured credit products. Track remediation items through resolution and support improvements to data quality, controls and operational processes.
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience within investment operations, middle office, loan operations, investment accounting, investment data or related function. Experience investigating reconciliation breaks, data discrepancies, transaction exceptions or other investment-data issues. Working knowledge of private credit, bank loans, fixed income and/or structured credit. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Additional Details: Initial 6-month consulting engagement with potential for permanent conversion. Primarily remote, with the option to work from the Jersey City office. Immediate start preferred.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
