About the role

The Director- Manufacturing is the operational backbone of our end-to-end DC Equipment Fabrication & Assembly managed service engagement, driving integrated planning, reporting discipline, and cross-functional coordination to maintain schedule integrity, cost control, and decision transparency. Supported by centralized Project Coordinators and Program-level Business Analysts, this role translates executive-level strategy into site-level execution across all production workstreams and ensures consistent throughput, material readiness, and workforce performance across an accelerated production ramp.
Key Responsibilities: Integrated Planning & Coordination — Drive cross-functional coordination across Fabrication, Assembly, and Logistics workstreams, ensuring alignment of production execution with material flow, workforce deployment, and shift coverage. Reporting Discipline & KPI Management — Establish and maintain structured daily/weekly reporting cadences with KPI visibility, tracking throughput, quality, labor performance, and inventory flow. Own the evolution of dashboards from v 1 (baseline visibility) through v 2 (refined, cross-functional, improved accuracy).Workforce Deployment Oversight — Coordinate workforce deployment across the hiring ramp plan, ensuring alignment to production roles, ramp schedules, SOPs, and safety standards. Manage workforce organization including Shift Managers, Superintendents (1:100 ratio), Foremen (1:3 ratio to Working Leads), and Working Leads (1:10 staff ratio).Production Lifecycle Management — Oversee execution of fabrication, assembly, testing, and integration activities aligned to production schedules. Conduct issue triage, troubleshooting, and escalation while maintaining system, material, and operational readiness across all workstreams. Governance Execution — Facilitate operational reviews, KPI reviews, and executive reporting. Maintain structured logs, dashboards, and production trackers. Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and structured feedback loops Phase Gate Management — Own milestone delivery across multiple phases of a defined master schedule. Stakeholder Management — Serve as the primary operational liaison between Insight Global governance, client site leadership, and functional Operations Managers, ensuring decision transparency and aligned execution priorities. Documentation & Process Standardization — Ensure development, validation, and version control of all operational documentation including SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and training materials through SME-led workshops and structured review cycles.
Required Qualifications: 7+ years of program management experience in manufacturing, production operations, or managed service delivery environments Demonstrated ability to manage multi-workstream programs with 200+ resources across multiple shifts Strong proficiency in KPI/SLA frameworks, dashboard development, and data-driven performance management Experience with production ramp planning, workforce mobilization, and operational documentation (SOPs, work instructions)Proficiency in project management tools, reporting platforms, and structured governance methodologies Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment across technical and operational teams Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program management certification Experience in data center, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environments Lean/Six Sigma certification Familiarity with CMMS systems, WMS platforms, and production tracking tools
