About the role

Serving as a senior advisor on attorney ethics and professional responsibility matters, the full-time remote Senior Corporate Counsel - Ethics will manage complex ethics and conflicts issues, provide guidance on professional conduct across jurisdictions, and support the firm's ethics program operations. Key responsibilities Advise on and handle sensitive professional responsibility matters, including conflicts of interest and compliance with ethical standards Conduct conflicts analysis for new business intake and lateral hiring, providing resolution strategies and drafting necessary documentation Identify ethics-related risks and trends, recommending updates to firm policies and collaborating with senior leadership on complex matters Required qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Minimum of 10 years of legal experience focusing on attorney ethics, professional responsibility, and conflicts of interest in a large law firm or similar environment Demonstrated ability to research and apply rules of professional conduct to complex scenarios Experience advising on sensitive legal issues requiring professional judgment and discretion Proven capacity to operate independently while escalating high-risk issues to senior legal leadership as necessary
