Job Id: 492# of Openings:1 Environmental Health & Safety Manager Havco is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead and continuously improve our environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do: Lead facility safety and environmental compliance programs. Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable environmental regulations. Manage environmental permits, reporting, inspections, and compliance documentation. Lead accident, incident, and environmental investigations and develop corrective actions. Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and required training. Lead the plant Safety Team and partner with managers and employees to strengthen our safety culture. Oversee programs related to air emissions, stormwater, waste management, chemical safety, PPE, LOTO, HAZCOM, and industrial hygiene. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help reduce workplace risk.
What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with environmental permitting, compliance inspections, reporting, and corrective actions. Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and effectively with employees at all levels. This location provides easy access for deliveries and shipments, which means efficiency for our customers.
