Role Description: This full-time Business Development Representative role is a hybrid position based in Scottsdale, AZ, with some work-from-home flexibility. The individual in this role will identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking, and digital outreach, focusing on small to mid-sized businesses that can benefit from CMIT’s managed IT services. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining a pipeline of prospects, scheduling and attending meetings or demos, and collaborating with the local leadership team to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns. The role also includes maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, following up consistently with leads, and supporting proposals and presentations. Success in this position involves developing strong, trust-based relationships, understanding client needs, and aligning CMIT solutions to those needs.
Qualifications: Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, including outbound prospecting and pipeline development. Demonstrated Sales and Business Development experience, preferably in B2B or technology services. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present solutions clearly to non-technical audiences. Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with reliable transportation for local meetings in Scottsdale, AZ.Basic understanding of IT services or willingness to learn about managed services, cloud, and cybersecurity offerings. Proficiency with CRM tools and standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously. High level of professionalism, integrity, and a client-focused mindset; prior experience in managed services or technology sales is a plus.
