About the role

A growing healthcare technology company is looking to add an experienced healthcare executive to its Board. The business is particularly interested in leaders who have operated at President, CEO or equivalent senior executive level within a major US health plan, payer, primary care organisation or large provider system. The successful individual will bring a combination of strong governance experience and genuine operating expertise, with the ability to provide constructive challenge and strategic support to the leadership team. The ideal background Former President, CEO or senior operating executive within a major US health plan or provider organisation Strong understanding of Board governance, oversight and fiduciary responsibilities Significant experience leading complex healthcare organisations at scale First-hand understanding of the priorities, needs and decision-making processes of health plans or large provider organisations Ability to contribute across strategy, growth, operations and organisational development Strong credibility and relationships across the US healthcare market The company is particularly interested in executives who are recently retired, semi-retired or moving away from full-time operating roles, allowing them to make a meaningful Board commitment while minimising potential conflicts. This is an opportunity to bring substantial operating and governance experience to a growing healthcare business and play an active role in supporting its next stage of development.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
