Remote Accounting Specialist

Job SummaryThe Accounts Receivable and Payables Specialist is accountable for timely and accurate client billing, maintaining monthly fee schedules, and performs a range of general accounting and clerical support. This position requires flexible work schedule. After training (in the corporate office Monday – Friday 8-5) flexibility in work schedule is required due to support of west coast clients. Hours may vary based on business needs.Essential Functions, Duties and responsibilitiesCreates and generates invoices involving analysis and researchVerifies accuracy of invoices for proper cost and fee recognitionReconciles A/R to Orion (platform of tech service to our customers)Follow collection procedures on declines and past due accountsEnter payments in OrionEnter Invoices and payments in QuickBooks and RampProcess charges to Blue Pay and email confirmation to customersCollaborates with accounting team members on all departmental tasks for completionMaintains monthly maintenance fee schedulesSupports department answering phone calls and customer concerns to resolutionMonitor A/P email boxPrepare Weekly A/P Payment Report and Process vendor paymentsRemote DepositsPerforms other related duties as assigned.Education and Experience RequirementsAssociate's degree or 5 years relevant accounting experienceMinimum of 5 years as an Accounting or Billing Clerk; proven related experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceProficient user of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (strong skills in Excel) applicationsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAdhere and support AirPro Diagnostics quality of serviceAbility to retrieve and interpret documentationStrong attention to detailStrong analytical, problem solving and decision-making, adaptable, flexibleAble to work in a team setting and independently under minimum supervisionHigh level of customer service displaying positive attitude.Benefits Include:MedicalDentalVisionCompany Paid Life InsurancePet InsuranceSupplemental InsurancePTOPaid HolidaysMatching 401kAirPro Diagnostics is Proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
