Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Site Safety Health Officer, located in San Diego, CA. The Construction Site Safety Health Officer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with occupational and community health standards on construction sites. Daily tasks include monitoring workplace safety, conducting regular safety assessments, providing safety training to employees, and implementing safety protocols. The role also involves communicating safety procedures and guidelines to construction workers and ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications:
Strong skills in Occupational Health and Community Health Expertise in Workplace Safety and Construction Safety standards Excellent Communication skills for effective safety training and consultations Relevant certifications in safety management or related fields Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site Experience in the construction industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related fieldEM 385- Required Fall Protection Confined Space Minimum 5 years Construction experience.
