About the role
Quality Technician Pro Ampac is seeking a Quality Technician to support our Quality Assurance & Testing team in our flexible packaging operations. In this role, you will inspect and test films, pouches, and bags to ensure they meet customer specifications, safety standards, and Pro Ampac quality requirements. You will perform in-process and final inspections, record and analyze data, identify nonconformances, and help drive corrective actions. Working in a safety-first, collaborative environment, you'll partner with production and engineering to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support our commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. Ideal candidates bring strong attention to detail, basic measurement skills, and experience in manufacturing or quality control.
Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final inspections of flexible packaging products Conduct routine tests on films, pouches, and bags to verify specifications Document test results, nonconformances, and corrective actions accurately Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment Collaborate with production, engineering, and customer service on quality issues Ensure compliance with Pro Ampac, customer, and regulatory quality standards Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safety-first culture
