Overview:
Florvets Structures is a leading construction and engineering company based in Portland, Oregon. We specialize in designing and building innovative and sustainable structures for a variety of industries including commercial, residential, and industrial.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas where machine learning can be applied to improve processes and operations
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models to analyze large datasets and extract valuable insights
- Work with data engineers to ensure data quality and integrity for machine learning projects
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of machine learning models and make necessary improvements
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to enhance our processes and operations
- Communicate findings and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning or data science
- Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms such as regression, clustering, and neural networks
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and Java
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and other tools
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorchExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
