About the role
Company Description:
Kamwo Meridian Herbs is a cosmetics company headquartered at 211 Grand Street in New York City, United States. Team members collaborate across departments to provide efficient service and high-quality products to customers. The company values reliability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Role Description:
The Office Associate is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting daily office operations and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. Typical tasks include handling correspondence, maintaining digital records, and assisting with data entry and basic accounting-related activities. The role involves providing responsive customer service via email, phone, or online platforms, and coordinating with other team members to resolve inquiries. The Office Associate will also help with scheduling, organizing documents, and supporting office administration tasks that contribute to efficient business operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple responsibilities while working independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications:
Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with customers and colleagues. Experience with Administrative Assistance and Office Administration to manage records, schedules, and general office tasks. Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a professional, client-focused approach. Basic Accounting knowledge to assist with invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record-keeping. Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email tools) and comfort working in a remote environment. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Prior experience in an office or administrative role is preferred; experience in cosmetics or retail is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in business or administration is beneficial.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
