Job Summary:
(Need to have own van or truck ) and tools We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping in residential and/or commercial settings. You will be expected to diagnose issues efficiently, provide high-quality workmanship, and ensure all work meets local building codes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.). Diagnose plumbing problems and determine the most cost-effective and efficient solutions. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local, state, and federal plumbing codes. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding the scope of work and estimated costs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and company vehicle.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a plumber (provide specific years if required). Valid plumbing license or certification as required by state/local regulations. Strong understanding of water distribution and waste disposal systems. Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to the trade. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with commercial plumbing systems. Knowledge of specialized equipment (e.g., drain cleaning machines, pipe locators). Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call or emergency rotations. Certification in backflow prevention or other specialized areas. Need to have their own or !
