About the role

To create engaging and high-performing YouTube content, the freelance YouTube Editor will manage end-to-end post-production, transforming raw footage into compelling videos while working remotely. Key responsibilities Own end-to-end post-production for high-performing YouTube content, from ingest and assembly through final delivery Shape compelling narratives through pacing, structure, music, graphics, and sound design to maximize retention and watch time Collaborate with producers, creators, and stakeholders to refine concepts and translate creative vision into finished edits Required qualifications Extensive experience editing top-tier YouTube programming or digital content that resonates in today's culture Exceptional storytelling instincts paired with a strong storytelling sensibility Deep fluency in YouTube formats, trends, performance drivers, and audience behavior Advanced proficiency in professional editing tools and post-production workflows A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to execute at a high level under tight timelines
