About the role

Stagedge is seeking freelance Event Producers for live, hybrid, and virtual events. As an Event Producer, you are responsible for understanding project scope, client goals, and expectations, then managing and coordinating deliverables across all stakeholders through every phase of event production, from pre-production through post, to ensure a successful execution.
What you’ll do: Create project production plans, show flows, crew contact sheets, rehearsal schedules, budgets, and venue communications as applicable. Establish regular meetings with internal stakeholders such as creative, web, video, stream, and technology leads, as well as with clients, and keep every member of the project team informed. Manage team pre-production and on-site hours, and communicate any changes to client expectations, budget, or scope to the Director of Production and Account Executive. Serve as the main client contact for asset management, version control, and content, unless otherwise designated. Organize and catalog assets such as presentations and video in Microsoft Teams as a common library for the project team. Handle crew travel, hotel, and meal planning as applicable. Complete a post-show debrief, and schedule and organize a post-event debrief with the client and internal team as applicable. What you’ll bring 7 to 10 or more years working with clients on live and virtual events across various formats. Experience with live broadcast and streaming projects. Ability to communicate effectively with senior-level management in writing, verbally, and in person. Strong organization and attention to detail in documentation and communication. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or a similar collaboration tool. Flexibility to adjust to changing scheduling demands, and the ability to develop contingency plans quickly.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
