About the role
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and self-motivated On-Site Maintenance Person to oversee the upkeep and daily operations of two local RV parks. This is a "Workcamper" position requiring the employee to live on-site in their own RV.You will work a standard schedule of 25-30 hours per week performing routine maintenance, safety checks, and grounds upkeep, and must be available to respond to occasional after-hours maintenance emergencies.
Core Responsibilities:
·Systems Upkeep: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on electrical pedestals, water lines, plumbing fixtures, and septic systems.·HVAC & Appliances: Maintain basic operating knowledge of A/C units and equipment.·Pool & Grounds: Conduct regular pool maintenance, chemical testing, and cleaning.·Handyman Repairs: Perform general carpentry, painting, site cleanup, and miscellaneous facility repairs as needed.·Emergency Response: Serve as the on-call contact for critical after-hours park emergencies (e.g., major leaks, electrical issues) Job Requirements:·Must own and live in your own operational, RV (must be 10 years or newer)·Proven, hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, and handyman repairs.·Previous experience with pool maintenance and chemical balancing.·Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, multitask, and manage time effectively between two properties.·Strong troubleshooting skills.
