About the role
- Answer a high volume of inbound customer calls in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with scheduling transportation reservations
- Accurately collect and enter trip information into the appropriate system
- Determine appropriate scheduling based on pickup, arrival, or appointment times
- Answer questions regarding trips, schedules, and transportation services
- Provide patient, compassionate service to older adults and individuals with disabilities
- Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment
- Follow established procedures and customer service standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and friendly phone presence
- Comfortable working in a high-volume call center environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills
- Customer service experience preferred; retail, hospitality, administrative, or other customer-facing experience is welcome
- Ability to work the assigned schedule, including weekends as required
- Must have reliable transportation to the Tinley Park location
- Fully onsite position with parking available
- No public transportation options are available at the location
- Training is provided in a classroom setting
- Each employee will have their own computer, headset, and electronic workstation
- The role involves frequent inbound calls and continuous customer interaction
- Candidates must be available to complete required background and drug screening promptly
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required screening
- Initial assignment is at least 30 days, with potential for extension and permanent employment based on performance
- Candidates must be available to start quickly; extended notice periods may not be accommodated
