Junior Event Associate (Sales Team)

Welcome to The Bizarre Agency!We've recently partnered with a major new nonprofit client in Miami, and we're building 2–3 high-performance marketing teams around top local talent. This role starts at the entry level, but we invest in our people; top performers have the opportunity to move into a Managing Director position within 12 months. The pace is fast, but so is Miami, and our clients expect nothing less.We're especially interested in candidates with a hospitality background or strong customer-service experience. But no specific experience is required as we provide full training. Miami's hospitality industry teaches people how to communicate clearly, stay composed under pressure, adapt quickly, and build genuine connections, traits that translate directly into success in our marketing environment.Our ideal candidate in Miami:Passionate about the causes and communities we representValues integrity and professionalismBilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong advantageStrong communicator, comfortable engaging diverse Miami demographicsCompetitive, energetic, fun, and excited to take on more responsibility over timeThrives in fast-paced, high-demand environmentsBachelor's in marketing or business, preferred but not requiredLocal to Miami or able to relocate within 2–3 weeksResponsibilities include:Face-to-face fundraising on behalf of some of the world's biggest nonprofitsSet up and lead face-to-face marketing presentations on behalf of our nonprofit clientsProvide daily performance updates to team leads; weekly KPI reports to account managersBuild and manage strong community and site relationships across Miami-DadeTravel for networking events once every 2–3 monthsConduct monthly team presentations to track progress and performanceStay up to date with client initiatives and campaign changesPrepare local market research prior to new eventsSuggest new revenue and outreach opportunities tailored to Miami communitiesWe're a fast-growing marketing startup in Miami, committed to building a strong foundation for long-term expansion.
