Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and preventive maintenance, as well as minor repairs, on company properties to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a versatile skill set, including knowledge in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities: Property Maintenance:
  • Conduct routine tasks, including painting, flooring repairs, and drywall patching.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Perform property inspections to proactively identifymaintenance needs.
  • Construction Assistance:
  • Support make-ready processes and small construction projects.
  • Maintain tools and materials needed for maintenance and repairs.
  • HVAC Systems:
  • Perform basic HVAC maintenance, such as filter replacements and troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and building codes inall maintenance and construction tasks.
  • Participate in safety training and create a secure work environment.
  • Emergency Repairs:
  • Respond to emergency repair requests, including after-hourscalls as needed.
  • Record Keeping:
  • Document all completed maintenance and repair tasksin AppFolioMaintain an organized inventory of supplies and tools.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.2+ years of experience in building maintenance or construction. Proficient in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Ability to interpret safety regulations and maintenance guidelines. Problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
