About the role
Cabinet Builder Our client, located in Reading, PA is adding a full time Cabinet Builder position to their team. Build custom cabinetry from architectural and shop drawings. Read, interpret, and accurately follow drawings and specifications. Use carpentry hand tools and shop machinery safely and effectively. Complete assigned jobs on schedule while maintaining quality standards. Work collaboratively with other shop team members. Manage time effectively to meet production deadlines. Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced shop environment. Support additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
Hands-on experience in cabinetry or woodworking. Knowledge of cabinetry construction and shop fabrication processes. Ability to use and maintain carpentry hand tools. Experience working with cabinetry shop equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic and reliability. Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed.
High school diploma or GED required. Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and 75 pounds or more with team lift, multiple times per day. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work in a loud shop environment. Must be fit for duty and able to problem solve, stay organized, and make sound decisions.
