The Opportunity: The University Of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks an innovative, inspiring and forward-looking academic leader to serve as the next Dean of the College Of Journalism And Mass Communications. The incoming Dean will have the opportunity to direct the vision of an energetic and engaged faculty, staff and student population. The Position: The Dean reports directly to the Executive Vice Chancellor and is the chief academic and administrative officer of the College Of Journalism And Mass Communications. The Dean has the responsibility for the strategic, programmatic, financial, fundraising, and management operations that support the mission and vision of the College Of Journalism And Mass Communications and its role within the university and across the state. Minimum Required Qualifications - Candidate Profile Successful candidates will have deep experience in and awareness of both the professions and academia and will bring a record of achievement that reflects a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education, research and creative activity, and the public and professional impact of the College Of Journalism And Mass Communications.
