Phaxis is looking for an Optician 2 to join a friendly eye care team in Stillwater, OKIf you already have experience in an optical setting, enjoy working with patients, and know your way around frames, lenses, and eyewear, this could be a great next opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist patients with selecting frames and eyewear
  • Review prescriptions and help patients understand their eyewear options
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience
  • Take measurements and assist with proper frame fitting
  • Perform adjustments and minor repairs as needed
  • Assist with patient check-in/check-out and front desk responsibilities
  • Answer phones and help with appointment scheduling
  • Maintain accurate patient and optical records
  • Keep the optical area organized and running smoothly
  • Work closely with the eye care team to provide an excellent patient experience
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous optician/optical experience is required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable working directly with patients
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  • A team player with a positive, professional attitude
  • Ability to confidently discuss frames, lenses, and eyewear options with patients
