Self Service Laundromat Store Lead - Wash / Fold & Operations

What You’ll Do: Receive, sort, wash, dry, fold, package, label, and organize Wash & Fold orders Maintain strong quality control and ensure customer orders are never mixed Help customers with washers, dryers, payments, refunds, and general questions Keep the laundromat clean, organized, safe, and welcoming throughout the day Regularly inspect washers, dryers, payment systems, vending equipment, and store conditions Perform basic troubleshooting and safely take malfunctioning equipment out of service when needed Coordinate with repair technicians and vendors Restock laundry supplies and monitor vending inventory Keep Wash & Fold orders organized for customer pickup Complete simple daily store and equipment checklists Document incidents, equipment issues, and customer concerns clearly Identify problems and take ownership of getting them resolved Help us improve the customer experience and store operations as Stay Golden grows

What We’re Looking For: We care more about reliability, ownership, judgment, and attitude than having a specific job title on your résumé.Experience in laundromats, Wash & Fold, dry cleaning, hotel laundry, housekeeping, retail operations, hospitality, or another hands-on customer service business is helpful, but not required for the right person. You should be: Reliable and punctual Friendly and comfortable helping customers Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable doing hands-on laundry and cleaning work Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling bags of laundry Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and basic technology Able to recognize problems and take action without constant supervision Able to communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and management Comfortable working independently for much of the day Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to reliably commute to our Cupertino location. Compensation$24–$27 per hour depending on experience. Strong candidates will typically start around $25/hour, with a performance and compensation review after approximately 90 days. This is an hourly, non-exempt W-2 position.

After-hours work will be paid in accordance with applicable California wage and overtime requirements. When an approved in-person emergency response is required, Stay Golden will cover Uber/Lyft transportation to and from the store. These callbacks are intended for genuine operational emergencies, not routine customer questions.
