Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a billing team of 5-10 people
  • Help build and scale the billing department to support added volume from recent acquisitions
  • Oversee billing cycles to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
  • Reconcile billing and customer account issues and manage escalations through resolution
  • Analyze large data exports from multiple systems using ExcelMake independent decisions based on a strong understanding of process flow
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to keep billing aligned with business needs
  • Support the planned transition to a single ERP platform (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
  • Maintain procedural documentation and train the team on terminology, deadlines, and best practices
Requirements:
  • Prior supervisory experience required
  • Experience in a billing or operations-focused finance environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the confidence to handle escalations and work independently
  • A process improvement mindset and comfort with change in a growing organization
